Audrey Abbott
Welcome to Abbey Mead
Dear Friends of Abbey Mead,
I am Audrey Abbott (aka Audrey Iacone) and I created this monthly blog to share news about my new book, The Lady’s Desire / An Abbey Mead Novel.
This, my first historical suspense romance, was released on July 11th. I know that many of you have already downloaded the ebook. And I hope that you are reading and enjoying it! The paperback should be out sometime this Fall.
I thought you might also be interested in some tidbits about Abbey Mead, William and Anne, and life in Regency England.
Abbey Mead is a fictitious setting “located” in Surrey, England just south of London. Our story begins in Abbey Mead where William and Anne meet in 1812. It is a quaint village with a fascinating and fearsome history including smuggling…
Indeed… smuggling! Hmmm… could this be a plot thread hint?

PS Why did I select Audrey Abbott as my nom de plume?
a. It sounds “Englishy”
b. It is alliterative
c. I come by it honestly - it is my maiden name!
